Under the care of Prof. Dr. Hatim Salah El-Din, president of Damanhur University, and veterinary medicine institution in Damanhur and with the presence of prof. Dr. Osama Mahros, Dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine, Damanhur University, Prof. Dr. Saed Mohamed Gabr, vice-president of Damanhur University for higher studies and researches, Prof. Dr. Magdy Khalil Souliman, vice-president of Damanhur University for community service and developing environment and Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Farid, representative of ministry of veterinary medicine in El-Behira, a lecture was held in the faculty of pharmacy under the title of “The current situation of FMD in Egypt and ways of controlling it”.

From his side, Prof. Dr. Ebeid Abdel-Ati Salah, professor of healthy observation on food, has focused on the relation between the disease and man assuring that animals must be examined before and after slaughter.
