Damanhour University Holds a Series of Seminars
to Promote the Values of Belonging and Citizenship among its Student
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - President of Damanhour University-
and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Enas Ibrahim - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing - a symposium on
(Belonging and Citizenship) was held today in the presence of Brigadier/ Ahmed Al-Sweedy - Military Adviser to Al Beheira Governorate.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abu Hatab - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf -
and Archbishop Thao Velos - Pastor of the Church of the Angel Michael in Damanhour, lectured in this symposium.
Saleh stressed that the Egyptians are among the nations that raise and enhance the values of citizenship and belonging.
Saleh added that the university has an essential role in instilling the concept of belonging and citizenship
in the hearts of our students and motivating them to serve the country sincerely.
He added that discussing the issue of strengthening the patriotic spirit and belonging among youth will have a tangible impact
on developing their love for their homeland, feeling its problems, commitment to its principles,
values and laws, and active participation in activities and programs that aim at the advancement
and preservation of the homeland.
