Ebeed Saleh: Creating a New Generation that has the Ability to Achieve
International Standards for Food Quality and Safety
Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - President of Damanhour University - met today with the members of the Food Research Center.
Saleh discussed with the Center's Board of Directors the activation of the Center by harnessing the research
and scientific output to provide services, activities, and specialized programs in the field of food quality and safety.
It was approved to establish the (International Training Unit for Food Quality and Safety)
and provide international programs specialized in food quality and safety.
Saleh stressed that these training courses aim to enhance the technical capabilities of students and all the beneficiaries,
provide them with skills, knowledge, and modern trends in the field of food quality and safety,
and create a new generation capable of achieving international standards and requirements in food safety.
He explained that the unit's training system got built through:
Forming a committee to study and prepare training needs.
Forming a committee for designing and developing training materials.
Forming a committee to manage and follow up the training.
