International Review for a Master's Thesis at Damanhour Faculty
of Pharmacy
The University President emphasizes that Internationalizing Education
is essential for all Higher Education Institutions

As part of Damanhour University’s commitment, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, to the internationalization
of university education, the master's thesis of the researcher Fatma Al-Zahraa Okda from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology
at the Faculty of Pharmacy underwent international peer review. The thesis is titled: (Phenotypic and Molecular Characterization of Quinolone-
Resistant Escherichia coli Isolates). The university president congratulated the researcher, praising the significance of the thesis topic.
He emphasized that Damanhour University adopts a strategy aimed at enhancing the quality of education and scientific research while
promoting cultural and academic exchange that benefits both students and faculty members. Trabees noted that the university is keen
to expand international cooperation, open new horizons, publish scientific papers, and exchange academic and research materials.
The thesis examination committee included Prof. Dr. Hesham El-Anshasy, Faculty Member at the University of Technology in Malaysia,
Prof. Dr. Hoda Gamal El-Din, Emeritus Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Alexandria University, Prof. Dr. Sara Magdy,
Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Damanhour University, and Prof. Dr. Rania Abou Zahra,
Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Damanhour University.
