The Temporary Board of Trustees of Damanhour National University

holds its Inaugural Meeting at Damanhour University

As part of the efforts of the state to develop the higher education system, enhance the role of national and technological universities,

and improve the quality of university education in line with international standards, Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, President of Damanhour

University, chaired the first meeting of the Temporary Board of Trustees of Damanhour National University. The meeting was attended

by the Vice Presidents of Damanhour University, faculty deans, university advisors, and the Secretary-General. Trabees expressed

his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for issuing Presidential Decree No. 244

of 2025 of establishing Damanhour National University. He emphasized that the founding of the university aligns with the political

leadership’s vision of establishing national universities that stem from public universities. Trabees stated that Damanhour National

University aims to become a distinguished academic institution and a model university offering exceptional programs and services.

The Temporary Board of Trustees reviewed the university’s strategic plan, which aims to deliver high-quality educational services

that meet international higher education standards. This plan is expected to benefit students and society while supporting

the national university’s role in development, enlightenment, and cultural advancement. It also seeks to position the university

among the top-ranked institutions in both national and global university rankings.
