Damanhour University Launches its First Student Delegations

to Participate in the Festival of (Al’alam Alamein)

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees - President of Damanhour University,

Prof. Dr. Maged Sho’ala - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,

and in cooperation with the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and the Leadership Preparation Institute,

Damanhour University launched its first student delegations to participate in the festival of (Al’alam Alamein) held in the New Alamein City.

The delegation included 45 male and female students from various faculties. The program included multiple activities, such as music,

fine arts, a plastic art exhibition, and five-a-side football.

Trabees emphasized that this participation reflects Damanhour University's belief in the vital role of student activities included in the National Strategy

for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2023.

Sho’ala also stressed the role of soft power in supporting the state's efforts to develop various tourist destinations

and the importance of student participation in such events.
