Damanhour University Council Discusses Mechanisms for Preparing for the New Academic Year

and Participation in the Presidential Initiative

(A New Beginning for Building the Human Being)

The Council of Damanhour University, headed by Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees - President of the University,

was held this morning in the presence of the Vice Presidents of the University, Deans of Faculties, University Advisors

and the Secretary-General of the University to discuss several topics related to the educational, research and service process.

Trabees stressed the need to complete the study plans and schedules and announce them to students before the start of the academic year,

emphasizing the necessity of considering security and safety measures. His Excellency also directed the Deans of Faculties

to develop a plan for the university to participate in the initiatives of (A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Human Being), (Learn Healthily)

and (100 Days of Sports) at the beginning of the new academic year.

During its session, the Council approved some decisions, including:

- Promotion of nine faculty members to the position of (Lecturer - Assistant Professor – Professor).

 -  Granting two doctoral degrees, twelve master's degrees, and ten diploma certificates.

 - Preparing a proposal to develop the university book, as well as the specifications of the exam paper.

- Signing a memorandum of understanding between Damanhour University and Huawei Egypt for Communications and Technology to serve the university

students and maximize their benefit from communications and information technology.
