Damanhour University announces Recommendations for the Second Session

of the Theater Festival (Focus) under the Slogan (Dramatize Your Theater)

Headed by Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, Damanhour University announced the recommendations for the second session

of the Theater Festival (Focus), held from November 22-27 at the Faculty of Science Theater. The festival's jury, which included

artist Mohamed El-Baya’a, director Sameh Rakha, and artist Ahmed El-Qastawy, thanked Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees -

President of Damanhour University, and Prof. Dr. Maged Sho’ala - Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs -

for supporting the theater activity and implementing the festival's recommendations in its first session.

The committee reached several recommendations that contribute to unleashing the stored energies within talented students as follows:

·       It is essential to hold workshops at least one month before the festival to ensure that students can effectively

apply what they have learned.

·        There should be a limit on the number of shows per day to allow sufficient time for each performance.

·        Each faculty must take responsibility for organizing its show during the shoe period.

·        Considering the possibility of establishing a conference center that includes a theater hall worthy of the name

of Damanhour University.
