Damanhour University President inaugurates the Service Center for Students with Disabilities,
emphasizing that Egypt is currently experiencing the (Golden Age) for People with Disabilities
Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees - President of Damanhour University - inaugurated today the Service Center for Students with Disabilities
at Al Abadiya Educational Complex, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Dina Mohsen - Deputy Director of the Scholarship Program,
Dr. Emad Abdel Malek - Higher Education Project Management Expert at the Education and Partnerships Office at
the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid El Sayed - Executive Director of the Center,
and Dr. Ahmed El Muhs - Deputy Director of the Center.
Trabees expressed his happiness with this partnership with USAID and AMIDEAST, which contributes to refining
the cognitive and skill aspects of the team working at the Service Center for Students with Disabilities.
Trabees added that the inauguration of the center today is the culmination of Damanhour University's interest in
its students with disabilities, noting that Egypt, under the leadership of its president, is experiencing the golden age
for people with disabilities, through unprecedented interest in supporting their rights.
