To enhance cultural and heritage awareness, Damanhour University Students visit
Luxor and Aswan as part of the (Know Your Country) Initiative
Recently, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees - President of Damanhour University - and Prof. Dr. Maged Sho’ala -
the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a group of students embarked on a trip to Luxor and Aswan.
This journey was part of the (Know Your Country) initiative, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports,
aimed at enriching students' understanding of Egypt's rich heritage.
During their visit, students explored numerous archaeological and cultural sites, including iconic landmarks and quaint Nubian villages.
Prof. Dr. Trabees emphasized the significance of these excursions in deepening students' appreciation for Egypt’s ancient
history and extraordinary archaeological treasures. Prof. Dr. Sho’ala highlighted that the trip is aligned with the university’s strategic
plan for student activities, which seeks to foster communication among students and enhance their social and cultural competencies.
