Damanhour University is participating in the 4th edition of the

(Listen and Speak) Forum to promote constructive and

effective dialogue among youth, thinkers, and experts

 

 

Damanhour University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, is committed to fostering a culture of constructive dialogue

among youth. Recently, a delegation from the university participated in the 4th edition of the (Listen and Speak) Forum.

This event, which took place at Al-Azhar Conference Center, was organized by Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism

with the support of His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. The delegation comprised Prof. Dr. Enas Ibrahim,

Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and several students from the Students for Egypt family

at the university. Notable attendees at the forum included Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tawiny, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif,

and Prof. Dr. Reham Salama, Executive Director of the Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism.

Prof. Dr. Trabees expressed his satisfaction with the university's involvement in the forum, which aims to strengthen the role of civil

society in combating extremism, educate youth about the Palestinian cause, and address media misinformation.

Prof. Dr. Enas Ibrahim praised the forum as a vital platform for dialogue, bringing together youth and experts to promote

constructive discussion, enhance critical thinking skills, and protect youth from extremist ideologies.
