Damanhour University President inaugurates the First Workshop

of the Regional Alliance of Alexandria to introduce

the Presidential Initiative (Alliance and Development)

As part of Damanhour University's commitment to its developmental and social mission, Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees,

President of Damanhour University, inaugurated the first workshop of the Regional Alliance of Alexandria to introduce

the presidential initiative (Alliance and Development). Dr. Hazem El-Deeb, Deputy Governor of Al Beheira;

Prof. Dr. Yasmine Abdel Moneim, Coordinator of the Alliance and Development Initiative at the Academy of Scientific Research

and Technology; representatives from Alexandria University, Borg El Arab University of Technology, Pharos, University of Technology,

El Alamein University of Technology, Egyptian-Japanese University of Science & Technology, Borg El Arab University of Technology,

and the Higher Institute of Oceanography; as well as the Vice Presidents of Damanhour University and deans of faculties, attended the event.

Trabees emphasized that the presidential initiative (Alliance and Development) represents an unprecedented step toward

maximizing the use of national energies in implementing development projects that support the national economy.

Trabees added that the Region Alliance of Alexandria provides a tremendous opportunity to enhance cooperation

between the region's governorates (Alexandria, Al Beheira, and Marsa Matrouh) to achieve comprehensive

development that addresses citizens' needs and accelerates progress.
