The Chairman of the Health Committee of the House of Representatives

and the President of Damanhour University inspect

the Construction Site of the University Hospital Building

Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, President of Damanhour University, received Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hatem, Chairman of the Health Committee

of the House of Representatives and former Minister of Health, for an inspection tour of the construction site of the university hospital

at Damanhour University. The visit included an inspection tour to review the latest developments and follow up on the ongoing finishing work.

This visit came on the sidelines of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hatem's participation in the activities of the First Conference on Chest Diseases in

Al Beheira Governorate (BBC 2025). They were accompanied during the visit by several members of the House of Representatives,

executive leaders from the governorate, and deans of faculties.

Hatem praised the University Hospital project, noting that it represents a great addition to the healthcare system in Egypt,

given the significant role it will play in providing the highest quality medical and therapeutic services to the residents of

Al Beheira Governorate and neighboring governorates. The President of Damanhour University commended the efforts

of the political leadership and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to modernize the university hospital

system following the latest international standards.
